CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™
Certified Investment Management Analyst®
Ever since I was young, I've been passionate about the exciting realm of capital markets and investments. Graduating college in 2010, just as the economy and markets began to bounce back from the Great Financial Crisis, served as a valuable learning experience. Thankfully, after acquiring my securities licenses, Federated presented me with an opportunity to embark on my career as an internal sales consultant in Pittsburgh. I worked alongside an external Federated wholesaler in a specific territory, engaging financial advisors who were open to implementing Federated investment strategies for their clients. After earning an internal promotion and acquiring my own territory, I propelled a nascent territory to the distinguished 'Chairman's Club.'

Just Facts
Apart from capital markets, I've always been passionate about computers – building them, surfing the internet (who else remembers 14.4K modems?), and naturally, gaming. In fact, guess who built this website?
When Paige reminds me it's time to step away screen time, I switch gears and dive into endurance sports. I'm always chasing down my next personal record in triathlons, marathons, road cycling, or even pickleball 😄. Paige and I have a blast traveling to countries steeped in history, embarking on incredible waterfall hikes, uncovering hidden beaches (preferably minus the pesky box jellyfish, of course), and treating ourselves to some amazing gelaterias – I mean, who can resist salted caramel?

The Little Bitcoin Book
Perhaps you've come across Bitcoin in the news or discussed it with friends and colleagues. Questions like, why does the price fluctuate? Is investing in Bitcoin a wise choice? How does it hold value? And why do people believe it will revolutionize the world? The Little Bitcoin Book delves into the problems with today's monetary system and explains why Bitcoin emerged as a potential solution to these issues.
Powers and Thrones: A New History of the Middle Ages
Dan Jones offers a captivating and comprehensive exploration of the medieval era. Spanning from the fall of Rome to the dawn of the Renaissance, Jones brings to life the complex world of kings, queens, warriors, and peasants, providing a fresh and engaging perspective on a thousand years of history that shaped the foundations of the modern world.
The Bitcoin Standard
When a pseudonymous programmer introduced “a new electronic cash system that’s fully peer-to-peer, with no trusted third party” to a small online mailing list in 2008, very few paid attention. Fourteen years later, and against all odds, this upstart autonomous decentralized software offers an unstoppable and globally-accessible hard money alternative to modern central banks.
Atlas Shrugged
A thought-provoking novel that explores the consequences of a society where the most productive and creative individuals decide to withdraw their talents. The story is a fascinating journey that makes you question the role of individualism and self-interest in our world. It's definitely an eye-opening read that's made me reflect on the importance of personal freedom and the pursuit of one's own values.
FreeCodeCamp
FreeCodeCamp is on a mission to make coding education accessible to everyone, for free! They offer a treasure trove of videos, articles, and interactive lessons that cover a wide range of programming topics. This was a key resource when I began my coding journey.
The Sovereign Individual
Peter Thiel counts 'The Soverign Individual' as an influential book. It was written over 20 years ago but it's still relevant today. The prescient ideas explore the greatest economic and political transition in centuries -- the shift from an industrial to an information-based society. 'All human rights may be distilled into one — choice.'
